Polypropylene GeoRod™

Carlisle Polypropylene GeoRod is a 5 mm (3/16 inch) diameter, polypropylene welding rod, designed for use with the Polypropylene GeoMembrane sheet. The GeoRod product is designed to seal cut edges of the reinforced GeoMembrane where polyester reinforcing fabric is exposed. The GeoRod is applied by the use of an extrusion welder.

All GeoRods have been qualified for ANSI/NSF-61 or drinking water contact certification (potable grade)

The GeoRod is available in 12 pound rolls wound on plastic spools and packaged one roll per carton. One roll yields approximately 1000 linear feet of extruded material.

The GeoRod formulation is based on the same UV stabilized polypropylene used in the GeoMembrane providing long-term performance in a buried or exposed geomembrane application.
